New: Bite-size online training workshops

We’ve re-formatted some of our comms training workshops and now offer three training opportunities on Zoom.

We have launched a new series of bite-sized communication training sessions on Zoom.

Our online communication workshops typically take the form of two 90-minute sessions tailored to meet the specific needs of your institution.

Blogging

Our two-part blogging workshop will help participants learn to make their blogs stand out from the crowd and appeal to new audiences.  The workshop is particularly popular with research institutions that want to disseminate their findings to audiences beyond their niche networks.

Basic broadcasting skills

The broadcast media has seen some changes since the COVID lockdown and many broadcast interviews continue to be undertaken via online platforms such as Zoom, instead of from their studios or on location.  This represents an opportunity for organisations not located close to media hubs, as they can now offer broadcast contributors from locations that journalists cannot easily reach. Our two-part broadcast interview workshop focuses on helping people become competent and confident broadcasters.

Crisis Communications

Our crisis communications workshop has been developed to meet the needs of decentralised organisations with communication focal points in multiple field locations.   It will teach participants the fundamentals of preparing a crisis plan that will enable them to hit the ground running in the event of crisis blowing up on their patch.

We keep the number of participants low so that we can meet the needs of each individual’s level of experience.
