New: Bite-size online training workshops

We’ve re-formatted some of our comms training workshops and now offer three training opportunities on Zoom.

We have launched a new series of bite-sized communication training sessions on Zoom.

Our online communication workshops typically take the form of two 90-minute sessions tailored to meet the specific needs of your institution.

With face-to-face events such as conferences and seminars being off the agenda for the time being, the COVID crisis is an opportunity to focus on developing better and more engaging digital communications.  Our two-part blogging workshop will help participants learn to make their blogs stand out from the crowd and appeal to new audiences.

Basic broadcasting skills

The broadcast media has been profoundly affected by the pandemic and broadcast interviews have switched from studio or location interviews to online platforms such as Zoom and Skype.  This represents an opportunity for international organisations to offer broadcast contributors from remote locations that journalists cannot reach. Our two-part broadcast interview workshop focuses on helping people become competent and confident broadcasters.

Crisis Communications

Our crisis communications workshop has been developed to meet the needs of decentralised organisations with communication focal points in multiple field locations.   It will teach participants the fundamentals of preparing a crisis plan that will enable them to hit the ground running in the event of crisis blowing up on their patch.

We keep the number of participants low so that we can meet the needs of each individual’s level of experience.
